So, it's been over four weeks since the last post (or something like that, I'm not quite sure). Since then, school has gotten into full swing, I've turned in homework, I've met new people, and I've talked to old people. And by old, of course, I mean anyone Jared's age.

The frisbee guys (yes, even the Chi Alphas) are growing on me. Nobody's tried to proselatize (sp?) to me, or pressed me into attending bible study (which sets them way ahead of the guys I first played frisbee with at UH my freshman year (members of the International Church Of Christ, I want to say, who instantly invited me to bible studies that wound up being more like lectures with me as the sole audience (isn't nesting of multiple parentheses fun?))), or even mentioned church aside from some of the shirts they wear. Seems my fears were unfounded. >whew< Not that I have anything against Christians, mind you. I am one, myself. I just can't stand evangelists, really. My beliefs are none of their business unless I allow them to be.

On the bright side, there's some awesome athleticism on this team. These guys run me into the ground on a regular basis. And they have decent skills. Without that combination, I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to beat UH over the weekend. We certainly didn't use any strategy. A little bit of practice oughta change that, though. Who knows, this might be the beginning of a pretty decent program.

I'm going to be in Houston tomorrow night (Thursday). I'll be playing frisbee with the peeps at UH. I'm gonna try to recruit some of them to go out to dinner afterwards. Any takers? Come on...
